Cid'sJottings.. and a Day of Jamming and few Dramas

I woke up really early today. (way earlier than my usual wake up time)
I have to go to my home department the soonest as possible that's why I have to be early enough.
I was worried I might not get one of the required subject for a 4th year student - Moral Theology. I've learned there were only 10 slots left for the last available section.   (Seriously? on the second day only 1 available section left?) I was worried even more that I don't have my approved pre reg form because I failed to get it from sir Fritz. Paranoia here it comes again! 


Well what really works these days is the "kulitan" factor. I prayed and asked our Department Chair to allow me to enroll even if I don't have my pre reg as of now.. I badly needed it.. wooh. I was allowed then. Sir Baks encoded for my subjects and I was still able to join the last available section - 7 slots left! Great great great! Good heavens thanks for these!


The I realized, as said by James, paranoia and all that worrying inside doesn't help at all. It just puts us nowhere and waste our energy. Just let things happen and try to face the consequences. [cont...]

I had my day today.. tiring and happy.. :)


When I woke up I went straight to my pc to turn it on and download everything from my Android SDK Manager. It was rough because my internet connection ! It cuts unexpectedly every now and then. But the good thing is that, the primary components that I needed were downloaded already.  After some preparations I started coding again for my senior project. Few things were added only  because I am receiving those "force close application" error once again.  And I get distracted by "Akazukin Chacha"! LOL

 

Yeah I still enjoy this anime hahaha...

Once again a typhoon visits Naga today - typhoon Nesat (Pedring) causing work and schools suspended for today. I read updates from Mike Padua's report and not PAG-ASA! Mike Padua's website -> http://www.typhoon2000.ph 

When I woke up today it was already gloomy and slightly raining outside, but not yet flooded. I was wondering if I have to attend to all of my appointments for today because early this morning only the secondary and primary school levels have suspended classes. Well atleast ateneo college has still their on-going class and faculties still have their work, with this I can still ask signatures for my papers. Hmmm... think think think.. would I be safe if I still leave house today? Might I be stranded on my way to school like get stacked from the flooded street of Ateneo Avenue.. or from the streets in our place? [cont...]

Facebook seems to tell me and support other's intuition that me and my sister indeed look a like.

I was uploading pictures in my facebook albums when their tagging strategy almost made me laugh. When they (i mean facebook technology) recognize faces they'd suggest you names of whom that face might belong to. Sometimes nearly look-a-like faces are grouped together and you can just enter the name once or facebook suggests who that might be. (Do I repeat myself? LOL)

So check this :) (yeah sorry i got poor techniques for editing pictures. LOL. Simplicity is the key!)

Lazy Bum.. no study habits

Ako lang ba toh? Kung gawain din to ng iba, ay naku kakaloka.. it's contagious mate!!
This is one of the craziest attitude I may ever have. I never want to tolerate it but it runs through my blood already! Damn that, help me remove it from myself.. hahaha I'm afraid I might be enjoying it by now hahaha

I have observe this behavior, pretty much clearly, from my last semester (2010-2011 2nd sem) and the recently finished summer class. I've got many things to study for, yet whenever my phone alarms for my study period (whether for my exams, quizzes, review, or just for future readings) I stood up.. tries to open my eyes wide and clear and energize my whole body, I suddenly FAIL!!! I felt dizzy, head aches or maybe I was just experiencing laziness???


Funny thing is that I'll set my time 15mins more, alarms, enjoys the bed, extends the time, 20 mins more.. *head aches even more*, alarms, extends the time.. 1 hour more.. and so on.... until I'll wake up and found out that it's already 6:30 am!!

Do I still have time to study??? 

Hahahahah silly moments!! 

There were mornings when I woke up and just really laugh at myself. At saan ako ngayon pupulutin dahil sa kalokohan ko hahaha. Then I just moved on.

While there were mornings when I woke up really scared.. pale.. and just loosing myself because I knew I'll fail my exams!!! I pack up my things, get ready for school.. and stares faraway with my worried face.. cause..still...

at this point of time, I knew I'm dead with my exams..

Anyway, when you sleep just for a couple of hours, or an hour or less.. you're head will ache causing you to feel uneasy while studying. Much worse, you may also feel sleepier than before. That sucks okay! Don't ever consider this as an excuse! Reality check... it's just true!!

If only I had established a good study habit, then I won't be having problems like this.. But it's okay. Just face the day with bright smiles and acceptance of our mistake. Just do better with the next days to come.

It's not a matter of tolerating our bad habits, rather it's a matter of avoiding a life full of regrets....

Scribbles..notes...my favorite thing

Aside from my interests with web designs and kawaii stuffs, my other favorite thing (to do) is to scribble. I write down on a piece of paper almost anything that's in my mind..

I do scribbles for:

• taking notes from my classes
• write down any of my ideas and thoughts.. i wanted to preserve them
• create a to do list
• my plans
• or just any random thing ever occurred to me..

That's why I name my other blog as scribbles. Cause I really write down almost anything and everything essential for my projects.. And that brought me from buying papers and memo pads designed with kawaii styles..

Goodmorning!! I'm still awake and it's around 1:30 am. I just signed off with Yahoo Messenger conference with my friends. Error na kasi ng error.. ano ba yan!!!


Hmm.. so I just decided to fix my blog.. that is obviously under development..
Well not this blog, but the other one.. LadyXciD-scRiBbLes. I love its design but I came to realized that there so many things that still needs to get fix: the links, the images, sidebars..



Remember when I mentioned before that I'd separate personal thoughts and randomness ideas from the academic, jobs and projects etc. Gonna fix the dead links on that blog.. find some good stuffs to post in there.



Then looking for design ideas will brought me back to my lurking addiction.. I'll be finding good pictures to post hahaha. But this makes me miss my tumblr account which is also a failure blog log... Soon I'll find time fixing it. But as of now.. the real blog first.. and some lurking activities over the net.. will do..

Still on Flooded Streets and Rainy Day

It's 4 in the afternoon and the current (electric current po!) just came back. Well I hope it will stay especially tonight.. or forever of course.. (sorry for being too dependent to current).

We just took our early dinner (yeah without current and seeing dark skies at this time makes us think it's nearly night already). Just to be prepared for early sleep or anything.. Besides we were tired evacuating our pets and stuffs to a safer place.

At this point water enters our gate already.. but good heavens the water didn't entered our house yet..

 

Water level has obviously risen.. I can see it from the outside and this house just in front of us

 

I hope that water will fast drain in our place..
